Been in Grande Prairie for two and a half weeks now. Possibly been to the Brewhouse about 5 or 6 times. I'm a big spender and dropped a lot at this particular location. Without hesitation as this place has a great atmosphere and great food. But to me...it's the customer service. You can't beat the service here. All the servers are great, hard workers. It's because of that I tip well here.

Last evening (wish I'd caught the servers name) we were served by a wonderful young server who did a fantastic job at juggling multiple tables at a time when the quantity of customers exploded out on the open deck. She still provided top service to our table. All the while manning the out door patio customers.

I could see she was getting swamped (as were the other servers, when your business is this good...you just know the place is good!) so I went to pay the bill so she wouldn't have to run back for a bill. I made it a point to talk with what I could only assume was another manager...owner..not sure, but he had a big black beard....very nice man. I told him service was fantastic though I could see the server was going a bit crazy with all the customers so I came up to pay the bill.

I made it a point to tip this server well. Looked like a bit of a rough go so why not try and lighten the frustration I figured. I managed to get a quick opportunity to walk over to the server when I saw her and let her know the service she provided to us was spot on. She was very grateful and even gave me a hug lol.

I should add...went back today and received free appetizers as a thank you from one of the managers I do believe!

In short...please stop by the Brewhouse and get a meal here. The food and drinks are fantastic. And please...if you're provided with great service...tip your server well!

    Workin' man's sports pub.

The place is fairly loud and boisterous.

Had the beef dip sandwich. Passable. The beef was good and not fatty or tough. The au jus was a bit off. Tasted more like a thin gravy. Fries are OK as well. Not terrible food, but solid.

Service was friendly if a bit slow.

If you come with the right expectation, this could be the place for you.

Food was ok albeit overpriced, service was good. At least the service i got from my server. It's OK for a Sport's bar.
Now I'll tell you why I won't be back - as I walked in I asked the bartender of I could watch the NFL game. He said sit right here and I'll put it on the big screen. Awesome! Fast forward 20 min, I've ordered and all of a sudden the game changes to the pre-hockey presentation. I politely ask the lady that is changing the channels to swich it back to the game. Her answer is - the Oilers are coming on and we watch the Oilers, I can out your game on a small TV. I look behind me, there are 6 people total and not a single one is even facing the TV in question. I ask her - who is it that is watching the game on this particular TV? She said is a restaurant policy when the Oilers come on to be on the big screen TV. I could move or she can turn one of the small TV. I moved closer to a TV. I look back and she is putting her buddies in the table I was just sitting.
Food was 3, service was 4, overall experience - 1! They pretty much lost a customer tonight because they have a policy to show a game to nobody instead of keeping it on a channel where a paying customer would be watching.

    P. S. I know it's Canada and hockey is the national past time. If there were 20 people lined up to watch the game I would have gladly moved but there was literally nobody even interested in it.

Excellent spot for lunch. We had steak tip sandwiches. Mine had a salad side hubby had fries. It was really tasty. Great portion size, fair price. Jamie , our server was very sweet and professional. After being asked if we wanted anything else we waited for our bill. Instead Jamie brought over a complimentary dessert for us to share because we were so cute coming in for our lunch date today....we were very surprised and touched by this. The place was already a great choice in our minds...the extra gesture put it on our top choices in this town now. Thanks guys. Great place

Meh. It's ok. I had Greek salad and Poutine. The Greek salad was basically salad with a little feta sprinkled on top. From someone who lived in a Greek neighborhood I wouldn't call that a Greek salad. Where's the kalamata olives? Grape leaves?  Etc.
and the poutine.....I don't know if poutine is different from region to region but it was just ok also.
Server was nice, but service was slow.
